STAKEHOLDER DIALOGUE 2010British American Tobacco organised several dialogue sessions at the European Union level in 2006 and 2007, within the framework of its social reporting process. These sessions were intended to help us understand the expectations of different stakeholders in areas such as harm reduction, smoking in public places and combating illicit trade. In our EU Social Report, published in 2007, we outlined our responses to those expectations, and committed to a range of actions including reporting on progress. In March 2010, we organised another independently facilitated stakeholder dialogue session with a view to sharing with different stakeholders what we have done to deliver on our commitments and listening to feedback, views and further expectations. The dialogue session report drawn up by the independent consultancy Acona and verified by Bureau Veritas is available here. |
